Lebanese-European surgeon currently residing in Lebanon. AMA

Title basically sums it up, feel free to ask me anything about the current situation here, my job, me or whatever you want lol. Try to keep the political debate at a minimum, people here debate it all the time and my head feels like exploding from it. lol

When the war ends

As soon as the war ends, I wanna get in my car with a couple of friends and drive all the way south to Naqoura, then go east to Rmeich, Bint Jbeil, Marjaayoun, Hasbaya and Rachayya. I'm gonna go all the way up north to Baalbak, Hermel then Tripoli.

I truly miss this feeling of getting in my car and driving all the way south or north at 2-3 AM on a whim as if there's no tomorrow just to share a beer there with a friend.

I took so many things for granted in my life, never did I think that the idea of a Lebanese road trip would be one of them.

I've been all over Europe and MENA yet our country remains special, it felt like home to me no matter in which city or village I was.

Stay safe everyone
