Should it be leather to look more presentable? Is canvas ok?

Are they always this rough on the skin? Do they soften with wash? I got a supima wrinkle free shirt from Calvin Klein and it feels like it’s scratching at my skin…

How long is the typical wait for the written offer after the verbal one? Hiring manager told me the job is mine and that I should get the contract in a couple of days but it’s now been more than a week! Is pharma usually this slow?
