Community worker PR

Hi,

I am currently completing my diploma of Community services online with a Victorian institute. I live in Sydney at the moment and am currently on my 485 visa which is expiring in March 2028.

My goal is to get PR and I have two options. I have received job opportunity in muy field (community worker) starting later this year and they have given me the option to work in either Hobart or Canberra.

Which offers the best option?

Thank you!

Hi,

I am a Go8 Commerce and Law graduate who has been unsuccessful in landing a job in those fields so Im looking to transition into Community Sevices work. I currently work in retail (i also have admin experince) and am in the process of completing a diploma in community services.

What advice would you give to someone in my position on how to land a role ? What are some of the organisations or recruiters to get in contact with that can help?

My unpaid placement has been sorted out so i think i'll be fine but with the HCOL, I need a paid opportunity ASAP.

NB Im based in Sydney
