Is it better to do skin treatments before or after plastic surgery?

I’ve been thinking a lot about the difference between plastic surgery and skin treatments, especially when it comes to anti-aging.

From what I understand, surgery can help with things like sagging, facial structure, or tissue lifting, while skin treatments seem more focused on texture, pores, pigmentation, elasticity, and overall skin quality. But I’m curious how people usually combine both.

For example, if someone is considering a lifting procedure, would it be better to improve skin condition first with treatments like laser, skin boosters, RF, or micro needling? Or is it more common to do surgery first and then maintain the results with skin treatments later?

I feel like surgery can change the overall shape and lift, but good skin quality also makes a huge difference in how natural and fresh the final result looks.

Has anyone here done both plastic surgery and skin treatments? Which one did you do first, and do you feel like the skin treatments helped improve or maintain your surgery results?

Is the egg-shaped Tamburins perfume actually worth the hype?

I finally gave in and ordered the famous egg shaped perfume from Tamburins online after seeing it all over social media for months. Honestly, I thought it might end up being one of those products where the packaging and branding are carrying most of the hype, especially because the whole brand aesthetic feels so curated and artsy.

But after using it for a while, I kind of understand why people are obsessed with it. The scent doesn’t smell like a typical strong designer perfume at all. It’s softer, cleaner, and somehow feels very “modern Korean luxury” to me. It almost smells more like a vibe or atmosphere than just a regular perfume, if that makes sense.

What surprised me most was how much the scent changes throughout the day. At first it smelled very unique and slightly sharp to me, but after a few hours it became warmer, softer, and more skin-like. I also liked that it doesn’t project aggressively or become overwhelming like some luxury perfumes can.

Now I’m stuck somewhere between genuinely loving the fragrance and wondering if I’m also just influenced by the beautiful packaging and branding experience

For people who’ve tried Tamburins before, do you actually think the perfumes are worth the hype and price, or is the aesthetic part of the appeal carrying it a little?

I’ve been struggling with smile lines and sagging cheeks for years!

Lately I’ve been realizing that my main issue isn’t actually wrinkles, it’s more that my cheeks seem to have dropped over time, which makes my nasolabial folds look heavier and deeper.

When I compare photos from a few years ago, my midface looked more lifted and supported. Now everything just feels a bit more tired or pulled downward, especially around my smile lines and lower cheeks.

At first I thought filler would completely fix it, but after researching more, I realized a lot of the issue seems to come from cheek descent and loss of midface support rather than just volume loss alone.

So recently I’ve been looking into procedures like midface lifting, ponytail lifting and deep-plane facelifts, but honestly the differences are still a little confusing. I’m not trying to look dramatically different or overly “done” I just want a softer, more refreshed version of myself with a bit more support in the cheek area and less heaviness around the folds.

Has anyone here dealt with something similar or found a procedure that actually helped long term?
