Is it possible to get GM to actually fix my Sierra's 10-speed transmission?
2024 GMC Sierra SLT 5.3L with 10-speed transmission with shifting issues.
(TLDR: Occasional shifting issues. GM updated software, then replaced control module. Still not fixed. What do I do?)
First time I took it in they did a software update, which did jack to help with shifting problems and got a "service transmission now. unable to shift soon" message a few days after picking it up.
Second time they replaced a control module. Still does the same things. If it doesn't give me transmission service messages soon, I guess it will after I put some more miles on it or the warranty is expired.
Is it possible to get them to actually fix it or what? Do I have to take it there every week until they run out of little fixes? First new truck I've ever owned and it really sucks having to deal with this.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
