Colour Scheme Decisions

Picked up ORK as my second group. I'm planning on getting the actual intro set next since I'm moving soon.

Anyway I can't quite figure out why I'm not happy with these guys. They're not quite done, so the usual issues dont bother me. They're just meh looking, especially compared to the Manticore minis. Maybe they need more colour variation? Is the green a bad choice? Lmk what yall think.

Buffing Highway Tires?

Hi all, as the title says, is there mod that increases the performance of Highway tires, or is there a way for me to do it? For clarity, I dont want OP tires that ignore mud, that defeats the point of the game. I simply prefer the asthetics of the Highway tires of some trucks better (like scouts mostly), but they're practically useless.

Im mostly asking this on a whim, as i just drove a modded truck that had some nice looking "Highway" tires that performed slightly better offroad and though it'd be nice.

First mini painted

Finally finished up my first mini for BLKOUT. I was a little nervous because of how detailed these guys are, and it turned out pretty good. Any advice is appreciated. I used Speedpaints, which were convenient for sure but not necessarily the best looking. Theres lots of details I otherwise missed and the colors blended together in some spots. Either way im pretty happy with him.

Duplicate Minis?

Just picked up my first box (BORZ) to check the game out. Models are beautiful and no real issues. Im just wondering if its normal to have duplicate miniatures in a core box. When I look at their promotional images I can't quite tell and Google isnt helpful, so figured I would ask here.

"Primed" my minis with regular paint

Like the title says. I wanted pink primer, if thats even a thing, for an iyanden army. I bought what was clearly advertised as pink PRIMER on Amazon. In my excitement I missed it was regular spray paint and gave my whole army a good coat on one side before I realized the texture was totally wrong.

Its a lot thicker in some spots and quite thin in others. Because i stopped some sides are regular plastic. Idk what to do. Should I spray regular primer over it? Strip them with a solvent? Something else?

Im quite exhausted at this point. I finally figured out how to paint well by hand with a brand I liked. I stripped my last combat patrol, except one dude, of their paint in isopropyl in anticipation of painting them a lot better this time. I was in such a rush I missed it, and now I am incredibly disappointed. Any help is appreciated.
