I feel bad for yelling at the agent themselves, but their non-chalant attitude about this super specific situation pissed me off
Long story short, I was hit by a car in a terrible
Hit and run, and it’s been a month later and I got a new vehicle and insurance policy on the vehicle
Well, also in that month, I found out I had a fake ticket on my account. They got rid of that ticket, , but backdated my insurance by deleting my new policy and going back to the one I cancelled.
It’s fixed now, but the agent acted like it was no big deal. I had been driving around for two days with out noticing , but if I had gotten into an accident, would there had been a way to prove I had insurance? The agent said we were dealing in hypotheticals at that point, and I angrily responded by saying I didn’t plan on getting hit by a car running a red at an intersection.
So yeah. I guess the question is, would I have been screwed? Or would there have been a way of proving I had instance and they themselves made a mistake. Im checking every other day now to make sure this doesn’t happen again.
