Im running edens latest nightly build, on steam os, on an rog ally z1e. my issue is that the keyboard wont show the the text im entering, or rather the game behind it. i tried changing the keyboard applet, and turning on applet overlay, i think its due to how steam os operates window priority. anyone know of a fix?

I recently got an rog ally z1e and i love it, however the sticks feel very loose, i have heard about the spring mod where your stretch your springs to have tighter tension.
if any of yall have done this mod, would you say its worth the effort and what gram springs the best? Also ive been looking and im finding dead links for 75g springs, is there anywhere youd recommend to buy some tighter springs for the ally
and as for the dpad mods, is there any mod to make the allys dpad dead zones? (idk if thats the right term) better, so there would be less accidental presses when hitting down or up.
ik this is similar to my last post, but circumstances have changed, i have both an rog ally z1e 512gb and a steam deck 256 gb lcd model for 400$ and im unsure what to buy, while the extra power of the rog ally is nice, i feel the extra battery life, touchpads, and the support from valve is better. lemme know your thoughts
seems too good to be true, but ive been looking for an ally x at a decent price in canada, its just on aliexpress at this price, its sketchin me out
Which handheld should I buy?
the asus rog z1e 512gb is around 550 cad refurbished near me, however i have wanted a steamdeck for a while, i feel it would suit me better but due to the shortages and the lack of refurbish restocks the prices near me are 800-900 for oled and 500-600 lcd used.
would the rog z1e meet my needs installing steam os onto it, or would i be better off getting a steam deck by hunting for deals and waiting for restocks/ prices to drop.

if the steam deck, which one, is the lcd that much worse than the oled, esp in battery life? or is it worth saving the 200 or so i would by not getting one, or do i hold out for price drops after this ai bubble pops (hopefully)
