If I’m eligible for medi-cal but my eligibility start date is next month. Could I go to the emergency room now and still be covered?
I’m really new to medi-cal and just received my Bic card(Benefits Identification Card) in the mail, where I was wondering if I can use it now if I have a medical emergency. I’m not thinking of going to the er but was wondering if I’ll be covered if I had an emergency since my start date is September 1st
My other question was can I use the card for a regular checkup or only for emergencies right now. Sorry to ask but this is all new to me
