Anyone else hate when the cast list spoils the movie?

Spider-Man doesn't reveal his name until halfway through the movie, but unfortunately, I accidentally saw this spoiler while I was trying to look up who plays MJ.

I hated The Boss Baby

I (white person) just finished the movie after it took me 2 weeks to watch it. I just couldn’t watch more than 10-20 minutes at a time. It’s of course an extremely grueling movie to watch but for me it was honestly too much. Now I’m puzzled though…

I honestly would rate the movie 0/5 based on my own enjoyment as it was extremely unpleasant to watch. I however don’t feel it would be fair for me (white person) to rate it low just because of my own discomfort. I mean that’s the whole point of the movie… but I base my rankings on my own experience with films and this one I hated every second of so… what to do??

I’m just so torn… this movie did its job by not pandering to white people’s comfort* and I respect that immensely but I just did not enjoy it… it’s not as if I didn’t know about the absurd horror of a baby also being a boss or that I haven’t seen other media around it. It’s just that this specific piece made me unfathomably repulsed. Might be a horrible comparison but I’ve seen childbirth and know about possible complications one might have during but seeing a birth that goes terribly wrong and lasts for 3 hours is not something I would enjoy on any level.

Obviously there isn’t a correct answer but I’m interested in hearing everyone’s takes. Right now I feel like the fairest thing would be to not rate it.

*=there is obviously the white savior aspect and narratively I personally didn’t like how all the environments were painted with the adult people and not the other babies but I feel like this one didn’t rely on the “nice adult baby owner” trope as much as other films have (though there were some).

Directors who are growers, not showers?

Directors who don’t impress you immediately with their scale or spectacle, but whose work only grows on you with time? Penis size discussion also welcome.
