I just don’t understand the praise for the Cohen brothers

Since I’ve embarked on my journey through cinema one of the first films makers I’ve heard recommended are “Joel and Etan Cohen” as a duo, and I just cannot understand the hype. I thought idiocracy was fun, and Garfield was an enjoyable movie, but can someone please explain to me why these guys are so praised? I just don’t get it

Not sure if anyone has pointed this out before, but when you watch Dune, the eye turns blue instead of green

Such a cool reference

Do I watch Michael again?

I think I should. He did say “Don’t Stop Till You Get Enough” after all… 🤔

What characters can we view through a neurodiverse lens

We all know the likes of Amelie emerges as an character with traits of autism and the mum from EEAAO likely has adhd traits, but what other characters from pulp culture, may or may not go under the radar in this way.
