Yall probably already knew. Just in case you didn’t. If you’re at a red light, and your cruise is already set while stopped at the light (vehicle is on “Hold”), press the “Res” button again and the vehicle will start going. No need to push the pedal.

Note, you don’t have to do this if there’s a car in front of you if you. Once the car in front of you starts moving so will your Buzz if the cruise is set.

Common sense, right? It just dawned on me. We were driving around town while we decided to roll the windows down and turn off the AC. That’s when I noticed my range go from 201 miles to 229 miles. Duh, why wouldn’t it. The added range seems to fluctuate (~12 miles extra). 🤷‍♂️ Something to remember if I find myself in a pinch. This is my first EV, apologies if this a common go to.

What is your miles per kWh rate? Most of my trips pull around 3.0mi/kWh. I can probably clock a 2.9 m/kWh, but that’s where it will flatline.

I recently exhausted my 500 kWh free of charge at EA’s stations. And tonight was the first time I’ve put my adapter to use. Off peak was @$0.29/kWh (Midnight til 8am). Huge price difference.

Oh, and in my market, we have two EA stations. Between both sites only 2 out of the 12 chargers work. That is not good.

A little under 300 miles. I’ve lost count of the honks. There’s not that many more World Cups I’ll be able to watch with my dad, 🥂 maybe many more.

Hello, could you help if you have installed the FitCamX? I have a ‘25 Pro S, and I tried to remove the OEM plastic rain sensor cover and I just could NOT! According to all the vids (there aren’t many) and comments/photos I’ve run across VW forums, Facebook, Reddit…I couldn’t get it.

I did get the top part ( 3 largest prongs & metal clip) closet to the rear view mirror cover. but it’s only a slight gap…does that sound right? It’s less than a quarter inch space that it budged.

Also, almost everyone says to squeeze the sides of the cover and push the same direction at the windshield. Not directly down but “kinda down at an angle that matches the windshield”…so I do that and I just can’t get it loose. The photo attached, the circle ⭕️, how does squeezing the sides lets that loose? To me, squeezing the sides doesn’t do anything. As for the square marker, this looks like it more of a guide for alignment? There shouldn’t be clipped in place.

Geez, did I explain that right…does it make ANY sense? 😂 my apologies if reading this made your head hurt.

EDIT: oh, the photos are screenshots of the YouTube install vid. It’s not me, I’m case anyone thought why are they asking how to take it off when they already took it off.

UPDATE 6.27.2025: FitCamX dashcam has been installed (I’ll drop a comment with a pic) My index fingers and thumbs hurt.

A piece of advice, do this in the middle of the day when the sun has had enough time to bake your interior. The cover was easier to work with.

I did break something! When I finally got it loose, I was using so much force that it yanked out the current USB-C connector. The connector metal piece dislodged. I was able to push it back in. But I didn’t test to see if it worked. Everything else was unharmed.

I would fall in love all over again with the Buzz and how practical it can be. Other than that, I love that there’s enough room to tame up the scooters, but HATE the look of the straps not to mention the extra time to put them in place.

Ionna stations have a promo going, cost will be @$0.20/kWh. I don’t know if this is only in my market. They offer up to 400 kWh fast charging, both CCS/NACS connectors.
