Upgraded from Wagon R
After more than 6 months of research and test drives we finally bought Hyundai Exter HX8 AMT. Had no plans to get an automatic but then went for it and this amt doesn’t even feel like amt it is too smooth. Rejected punch due to rear seat space. Engine is super silent and the 4 cylinder is cherry on top. The car drives like butter with 0 vibrations. It took us time to figure out if the car is on or off. Fit finish is perfect with no noticeable panel gaps. Did external PDI from zekardo which was descent but next time I’ll do pdi on my own as it’s nothing rocket science. Got ₹40,000 discount and free accessories. Since I’m a new driver and still learning I decided not to go with something powerful like kylaq and will pass on this car to my mom after a few years so automatic would be perfect for her. This is our second car after we bought wagon r in 2013 and sold in 2021. This feels very premium but I don’t understand point of touchscreen and sunroof in a car. Any recommended accessories? Car has dashcam but thinking to get a better one.
P.S. those who’re in car buying process don’t do mistake like me for thinking too much, go to a showroom take test drive and if you like it then just get it as new cars launch every month and if you keep on waiting you might never be able to get it.
