Looking for a film I saw a trailer for on TV in the early 1980s. Because of the distribution delays back then, the movie itself could likely be from the late 1970s (around 1977-1981) and probably American.

In the trailer, a blond young guy wearing jeans and a button-up shirt is walking down an alley. He turns a corner, and an attacker suddenly leaps from a low wall at the side of the alley.

The attacker is wearing a stocking mask over his head to hide his face. He punches the young guy in the stomach, pushing him against the wall. The attacker continues to punch him in the stomach, then knees him hard in the groin.

The blond guy collapses onto all fours. The attacker quickly steals some money from his shirt pocket and runs away.

The scene felt realistic and crime-focused, not horror or supernatural (as far as I remember).
