Hey!

Just a super quick question - I have a connection (through family) at a cafe near me, and I’m currently hunting for a casual/part-time job. Always loved coffee + some casual barista stuff at home, and would love the chance to do it for work, and apparently this place is looking for a ‘reliable’ barista.

Aside from asking the connection directly, which I’ll likely do regardless, can anyone here speak to what sort of qualifications are necessary to put me in a good spot? I’ve got some distant past experience in hospitality with a very likely expired RSA, but otherwise, I imagine a barista course/certification would be helpful? In my city (Melbourne, AUS) there seems to be a bunch of day courses, but there are many varying levels, from a beginner course around $100, a latte art course for $120 by itself, all the way up to a ‘ready to work’ level for $1000+, which is obviously out of my range for a casual job but seems excessive regardless!

Any advice from those in the industry would be much appreciated 🙏

I’ve just returned after a rather large hiatus after playing on and off since 2019-2020 or so.

I’ve got most of the obtainable vehicles, at least the ones I want, as well as a healthy collection of limiteds that I love. I’m not really interested in grinding concepts to upgrade on that end of things.

That being said, what is there really to spend money on? I’ve been planning to get a dream home - potentially the crater city penthouse, still undecided. Would love people’s thoughts on dream homes!

Also, am I missing any other use of money late game? I don’t expect it’ll be long before the 2 week phase is over 😂 but I know I’ll play again sometime in the future anyways too, so I don’t want to waste.

Hey all - call me super eager, but wondering when we can expect at least set names for the Jan 2027 wave?

I just want to know if they’re going to continue the hogwarts caste line!

If memory serves, we got name leaks about the current Summer wave around Feb, so roughly 4 months prior - does this mean I’m going to have to wait until September!!!

I recently started getting into the idea of starting to make some MOCs for the current Castle line - it’s likely going to be a little while until I get my hands on the east wing on sale, so I wanted something to entertain me in the meantime.

I stumbled upon this really cool MOC when looking for inspiration - it uses only parts included in the Flying Lesson set, and looks so great with the current castle line. IMO adds more character than the default version of the set, and looks great next to the Owlery.

Anyways, thought I’d share for anyone else here who’s looking for a way to mix things up!

Side note - if anyone has any tips for how to get started making MOCs, would love to hear your tips!
