These guys are my new favourite buddy cop duo

"In the Empire's war on crime, the worst Jedi offenders are pursued by the detectives of the Inquisitorius. These are their stories"

Really, I absolutely love these two. Marrok leads and the Crow follows. No egos, just teamwork. I could watch a whole series of these two investigating everything from the mundane to the most dangerous Jedi fugitives.

Shout out to Shadow Lord for making the Inquisitors into an intimidating presence

Marrok and the Crow were all about getting straight to business

This guy showed up for 2 minutes, almost killed Ventress and we never even found out his name

No seriously, can they tell us what number Inquisitor this guy is already so I can stop calling him "That guy who almost killed Ventress" or "That Inquisitor from Tales"

Props to him though. Even if Ventress was rusty, what with being dead and all, he proved himself to be one of the most skilled Inquisitors in his brief appearance.

Inquisitors are deliberately trained to be weak this and they're only meant to go after low level threats that. I'm convinced this guy is just that good.

Marrok has the ability to use psychometry making him an effective investigator. He can take on Jedi Masters and Sith Lords, and hold his own. He doesn't use the dual blades or spinning as a crutch for a lack of skill either. He mostly uses it practically like deflecting blaster fire from the Mandalorians in EP9.

The Crow doesn't bother with petty infighting or jealousy with him, he's more than happy to follow his lead and together they work very well as a team which means Marrok probably has some leadership skills too.

I'm aware there's comics and novels that establish the Inquisitors aren't trained to any high level or to be a real threat and are intentionally maimed in training amongst other things. I'm just saying, there's no chance this guy was just some Padawan forcibly inducted into their ranks.

Marrok had to have been a Jedi Knight who either showed tendencies towards the Dark Side and was on their radar as a potential good recruit or he survived the Purge and willingly offered his allegiance to the Empire. Dude's got some skills.

I love how Dark Siders all bring their own unique flourish to activating their sabers

Dooku's sign of respect to his former Master.

Palpatine always with a flick of the wrist showing he's ready to go at any moment.

Kylo's stomp to the ground.

Vader doesn't really have a fancy saber activation but no Dark Sider post is complete without him and his unique flourish is basically "If you're seeing red, it means you're dead"

It's all about style with the Dark Side of the Force.

Since when did Marrok become one of my favourite recent Star Wars characters? Since his appearance in this show!

They made Inquisitors genuinely intimidating and had some amazing fight scenes, proving that at least some of them are formidable warriors. Whoever decided to bring these two back and do more with them, I appreciate it.
