I’m looking for any grants that can help with a down payment. i cannot leave Palm Beach County as I work here and have elderly parents here. i looked on the pbc site and all applications are closed. Can anyone please offer advice?
as a woman, I feel like every thing we do needs to be analyzed. You can’t just live in peace, especially as a POC woman. For example, i’m just a regular everyday plain jane and I keep to myself and i’m quiet. I’ve had guys sexually harass me at the workplace, women give me dirty looks and start rumors about me, you name it! So when I’m quiet and keep to myself, Im stuck up. But when “John” comes to work, gets his work done, keeps to himself, and goes home he’s just a “chill quiet guy”.
If my hair isn’t done a certain way, nails aren’t painted, no makeup, then i’m just lazy and low effort. But when a guy comes in plain shirt and some khakis, he’s just a regular everyday guy! I hate it so much!!! does anyone else notice this?
