Voice Actor/Worker List

Why don't we have a list of Voice Workers here? Their contact or websites and what work they do, so some future employer can just easily contact you? Just update it a couple of times a year with a new list page. If this is ok with MODS, why not put your details here.

Voice Actors Wanted

Hi All. I have some short and long parts for characters in some audio stories I am producung. I am looking for interested parties to work with on an ongoing basis. The stories are English and based in UK and Ireland, so only those nationalities I am interested in with some American.

I need. English male x 3............American male...........Irish male x 2. Thats for starters.

I dont want anybody with cheap kit up or untreated recording areas. I can tell a mile off because I edit and produce. So unless you have your own decent set up I am not interested.

Of course I am willing to pay for these services.

Favourite Kind Of Audiobook

Are you into Horror. Thrillers. Action. Romance. Comedy. Or do you just take them as they come and will listen to anything if the title grabs you?

Do you like hour long stories that fit in with your work? Maybe shorter for a book at bedtime kind of thing? Or do your prefer epics that you can revisit over the day or days?

Patreon - YouTube

Do any of you listeners use Patreon to listen to audiobooks/stories? There are a few channels there and some with many members.

Also, endless audiobooks/stories on YouTube and all free. Most I think low quality and AI of some form. But this may suit some people. Does anybody use YouTube.

And I am surprised there is a Reddit audiobook/story section. Or is there? Free or paid?

Audiobooks On Patreon

I have been reading a few posts on where to read audiobooks, but in the handful I have read, nobody mentions Patreon.

No good, wrong type, just me, or is it a 'go to' place?

Measuring Possible Sites

Is there any kind of meter or complete kit that can be put in a possible solar panel site that would measure possible production? Something that will not cost hundreds or more either.

Ground Based Solar In Stormy Areas.

When I look at the ground based solarpanel frames, I think the wind around here in winter would smash them to peices. Storm gusts over 100mph.

So why do they not make an enclosed wooden/steel little shed that the winds cannot get behind or underneath and fit the panels to those weighted or anchored to the ground. A bit like an 'A' framed chicken coop kind of struture.

If heat is a problem in summer the 2 end panels can be opened/removed. Close bottom up to stop wind getting underneath and put weights inside etc.

Just asking thats all because the ground based frames look very light and all open to swirling hard wind.
