About the Work

Literary Chorale Triptych is a new work for solo marimba built from three short, contrasting chorales. Each movement draws on a different science fiction novel and explores a distinct emotional and sonic landscape.

Flowers from Cephalus and Diamonds from Neptune - Romantic, galactic, archaic

He Had Twenty Years to Think About It - Pensive, retrospective, dreamlike
