I made an art!

Its mostly foraged foliage, adhered to painted panneling using resin.

I had an uncured resin fairy door that I didn’t want going to waste, so I designed this concept around it.

Even the board itself is a Free-Weekend find that had a print glued to it. (Free Weekend is a twice-a-year occassion where I live, where folks place free stuff on the boulevard), I painted my design over the print with spray paint, then acrylic and oil crayons, before bringing it to life with dried bark and flowers.

I still need to refinish the frame and then reattach it, but waiting on warmer weather so I can get outside with some sand paper ✌️

It started with wanting to put one of my resin fairy doors on a canvas 🥹

Forged the foliage. Painted some paneling with acrylic and oil. Used resin to make the door and mushrooms. I'm so proud of this. I still need to sand and refinish the frame but the piece itself is done.

Photos posted out of order for some reason 🤷‍♀️

I need this sub to talk some sense into me

TLDR: I started eating everything again after my last gastroscopy.

I posted in here before, lamenting about how where I live, doing the 6fed takes years because of how long the wait time is for procedures like gastroscopies. I am thankful that this is all free for me, but the toss up is the wait time.

I've been gluten-free for 2 years. Dairy free for a year. Soy free and egg free for 7 months. Its been a long and slow process.

I felt the results with gluten. Everything past that has been down to the biopsy. The restrictions have ruled my life.

I'm currently in the 6 weeks waiting period between my last gastroscopy and receiving the biopsy results. No matter what they are, I know the clock will reset and ill be looking at another 6 months minimum of waiting and restrcting before we do another gastroscopy.

SO I've cracked. I've been eating everything again in the last 2 weeks. My neck feels so swollen from the inside. I might just be getting sick, but then again the water i just drank did not go down easy. Half the time I feel like the eoe is just in my head.

I know we are likely moving to eliminate fish and nuts next, and ill just live on broccoli and rice noodles 🥲

I just want to live a little while I can. Its been so long. I miss food so much.

I've just had another gastroscopy. Everything looked really good, but I've had that before and then the biopsy tells a different story.

I've eliminated gluten, soy, dairy, and eggs.

Bc I'm in Canada, with free Healthcare - which I love, don't get me wrong, but as a result the waitlist for the equipment is so long, we've been at this for years. I go 4-6 months between eliminating a new food and getting a scoping to see the effect.

It's just been so long. I don't know yet if we'll be moving to fish or nuts next. But once we get to the reintroduction phase thats gonna be another couple years minimum.

6Fed just takes so long here 😭
