Leave booked without notice
Is it normal to have your leave booked for you without notice?
I've been given next week off, using my paid leave, without me asking for it and without being told. I only found out because I couldn't find myself on the rota and asked.
I guess I'm ok with it, because it would be nice to have a week off during this heat, but I might need it later in the year as I have plans. I would just like to know if this is normal?
