Need some advice on how to feel okay on the motorcycle during the MSF.
I had my first day of course lessons during the MSF today. I had never even sat on a bike previously. I made a number of mistakes I feel.
We're riding Harley X350RAs, and im a taller guy at 6'1".
I dont find the seating position comfortable at all, its really killing my thighs and hips the way I have to position my feet. Maybe im just not a sport-bike related seating guy?
My main problem though is Throttle control and using the clutch in tandem.
I feel like when I give it just a little throttle, nothing really happens, then just a bit more and the bike jumps up way too fast.
Once im up to speed, I do alright.
Slow speed maneuvers are really rough though.
We did the slalom and tight corners today and I missed cones and ran out of bounds a number of times.
Tomorrow we're doing the u-turn and im not sure what else.
So yeah. Maybe this is just a rant I guess.
I keep telling myself that practice makes perfect, and that I can do this, but the worry and panic doesn't go away.
I could just really use some tips to use tomorrow to help me out with anything!
