Is there any hope for my beautiful cat's fur?

Little back story: my Mika (pictured: adorable) is about 18-19 years old and I've had her since she was a tiny fluffball. Mika hates being brushed, like truly despises it. She always took good care of herself and her fur was impeccable, so I left her alone and didn't brush her, but now, in her old age, she gave up on that task and became matted. I ended up bringing her to a groomer who did a really bad job at shaving her, but at least she wasn't matted anymore.

Fast forward about 4-5 months and here we are. Her dark fur somehow managed to grow back in, but her lighter colored hair hasn't grown at all. I know that cat's fur can be weird and can grow back a different color or even texture, but I never heard of it not growing back at all.

I just need some hope that my Mikachu isnt going to have to live out the rest of her life with this awful shave job. Am I just being impatient? I dont want the poor girl to have to go through another winter without her warm fur.

Every now and then Haley's mean streak shines through.

Guess we can't keep any pets in the house, cause Haley just kills them.

I love Marnie. She's so sweet and she looks so cute in her portrait, but her actual character looks like a damn garden gnome. Like, I know its hard to add that much detail into these little pixelated bodies, but damn, give the poor lady a neck ffs.

I guess she got tired of standing out there every day on the off chance that her one passenger wants to go to the desert.

Get your ass up and get to work Pam. I need seeds!

So, little back story: I've been a King fan since I read The Stand when I was 10. My favorite is The Talisman. Ive always wanted to read The Dark Tower series, but never got around to because I was missing the first book.

Just recently, my 14 year old son asked me if he could read one of my Stephen King books and my heart exploded. He's never been much of a reader, at all, so I jumped into action and started throwing books at the poor kid, and we finally landed on The Talisman and Everything's Eventual to start him off, but I started looking into The Dark Tower again and decided to just buy the books I'm missing because I think he would enjoy those too.

Now I know that the two series (The Talisman and The Dark Tower) have some correlation, and I decided to read both series along with him. My question (finally) is in what order should the books be read? Should I just go by release date or one series and then the other? And then theres the issue of the third talisman book not coming out until October. Any recommendations?
