Ideas for a William the Bastard build?

So I was inspired by some recent posts to do a CK3 playthrough as one of my favourite historical figures: William the Bastard, a Norman warlord who conquered England.

What traits would William have if he were in CK3?
Should I start as an adventurer or insert myself in as a custom Duke of Normandy? It’ll be difficult to conquer all of England in one war as my first character just starting as Normandy, but I’m not sure how else to fulfil my RP plans.

Also does anyone have any pre-made character DNA for Big Willy B? I want to make him look as historically accurate as possible, which means absolutely fucking nothing like this painting

What to do about continuing a mega-campaign to CK3

I’m coming close to the end of a Scandia game with the timeline extender and crisis of the third century. I know that Fallen Eagle hasn’t been updated to the current patch yet, and honestly I’d rather wait for the new republic and religion mechanics to be added to CK3 first anyway.

My worry is that the future version of the converter might not be compatible with the older version of Invictus my save will be on when future updates have come out. I’ve only converted saves between CK2/3 and EU4 before which is much smoother and doesn’t require multiple other mods to be updated, and I’m admittedly not the most mod-literate player so any advice on what my options are would be appreciated
