Should I get a masters in math?

^ As title states. I'm a rising 5th-year computer science and electrical engineering dual degree student. I want to move more into research, but take a short break from academia into industry. I've been pretty heavily considering doing a master's in math. I feel as if I get viewed in a very heavily engineering category, and I want to be viewed more as a thinker by picking up some theoretical skills. For those of you who work in research or R&D, do you think I would be more respected if I did a math master's, or should I just stick with my majors for graduate school? Assume GPA isn't an issue and that I fulfill the prerequisites for applying for these master's. I really enjoyed math and want to take more proof-based classes, but I also love my prospective majors. How does this help or hurt with PhD's?

Does Ivan Selesnick curve?

^ Title. I'm in his signals and systems course... and the entire semester has been rough in terms of grading. For those of you who've taken him in previous semesters, does he curve at the end, or should we just expect what we see?

I recently got permission to enroll in a class I really wanted, but I want to wait until I confirm the status of another class before I swap. I got the permission code today, will my code work for the semester or will it expire sometime today or tomorrow? I doubt this class will fill up it’s quite niche, but it might be embarrassing to ask for the permission code again.
