Hi everyone,

I have a quick doubt regarding UAN and onboarding.
During my pre-joining process for Cognizant, I marked “No” for active UAN since I had no employment or PF history at that time. My background verification was also completed based on that.

Recently, I activated a UAN on my own (it’s not linked to any employer and has no PF contributions).

Will this cause any issue during onboarding? Do I need to inform HR or just proceed normally?

Would really appreciate any guidance from people who’ve faced something similar. Thanks!
