Use case- engineering softwares-> autocad, matlab, proteus and all

Is it a good option to go with a 12th gen cpu since the 13th gen and higher are really expensive

Is it a good choice?

I’ve been planning to buy a decent laptop for my engineering work and have been researching options that fit my budget (1–1.1 lakhs). However, within just a month, laptop prices have increased drastically. The model I was considering earlier, the Lenovo LOQ IRX9, used to cost around 1.1 lakh, but now it’s being sold for around 140k. I’ve even contacted multiple shops to confirm this.

Now the problem is that I still need a laptop within the 1–1.1 lakh range, but the current market situation is so bad that it’s really hard to find a good option. Most shop owners are insisting that I buy the HP Victus, but I’m not convinced about it.

So what should I do now? Is there any decent laptop available within my budget, or should I wait for prices to drop back to normal (if they even do)?
