Stop saying this.
People are so misinformed when it comes to Pennywise in DbD.
“Oh it’ll never happen because King says he doesn’t like video games and won’t allow video game collaborations!”
There is not a single confirmed case where he even said this, he may have said that he wasn’t FOND of them, but he has never said he won’t allow video games.
It’s the Pinhead situation all over again. For Pinhead, they didn’t have to ask Clive Barker (The creator of Pinhead) for Hellraiser, in fact he wasn’t even in the discussion. They asked a company who HELD the Hellraiser rights. King does NOT own the adaptations of Pennywise from the movies, as that is Warner Bros. Property. They can easily just speak to Warner Bros themselves and King wouldn’t even be brought up in the conversation.
Just to clear things up for anyone saying Pennywise can’t come in because King said so.
