How much Botox?

I just had 20 units of Botox on each side in my jaw and 5 on each side in my neck area for headaches. I’m hoping I didn’t under do it, this is my first time getting it, have people had good experiences with this starting amount?

Support from those months out

From those months out, when did you start to feel better? I’m about 3 months out and struggling with breathing still, also had a turbinate reduction. It’s caused my jaw clenching to be worse, and now that I can start to breathe a bit better I’m wondering if it’s only because I started using Flonase.

Also, when you could finally feel your nose again after it feeling frozen in place for months, did you have soreness/pain? I can’t find much info about it 🥴🥴🥴

I know everyone heals at different rates but feeling so frustrated with the process

First week

Is anybody else in their first week or how did you deal with symptoms first week? I started out on 5mg and always took with food, but vomited and had intense nausea I and GI upset. Then psychiatrist decreased to 2.5 to take with zofran to ease me up, I still took with food and water but had intense nausea to the point everything was spinning and I had trouble breathing. I stopped altogether and left my psychiatrist a voicemail for the weekend. Is it possible I have an allergy or something?? I wanted to try to push through the symptoms but I was missing doctors appointments I really needed to go to and couldn’t work. 😬 any advice or thoughts appreciated 🥴

I just started a physical therapy. I’m trying not to be pessimistic, but I’ve been in pain for so long on top of an additional surgery I had before this. It seems like we’re targeting the neck/back so much and barely touching on the jaw. I know it’s all connected, but how do I ask about some thing like dry needling without seeming like I’m telling them how to do their job?

It’s important to note that for me I believe my TMJ is referred pain from a nasal surgery I had

Anyone else just get tired of waiting and go the Botox route?
