I understand that this game can have an E-dating problem with people treating the game like it’s tinder. But tell me why this person I friended is genuinely upset that I’m not single? She friended me about a week ago and was normal for the most part until last night. She joined my town and while I was fishing, you could tell she was building up the courage to ask me a question until she finally asked if I had a girlfriend. I told her that I had a boyfriend, to which she responds with, “are you gay?”, and I tell her that I am.
For the next hour, this person proceeds to follow me around the map (because it was raining and I wanted to catch fish that appear during rainy weather) spamming confused and sad emojis. She is usually such a chatty person with me but her finding out I had a boyfriend just made her go silent and her only communication for the next hour was sad emojis and “:(“.
Is this how people on this game handle “rejection” or was I just unlucky?
