[ALL] How do you feel about the missed opportunities of "Reunion "?

I would like to know if Reunion was as much of a disappointment for others as it was for me. I mean the game itself was on an "okey" level in my opinion, but if you put it in a comparison with what it could be...

Nor the story or the characters felt as intresting, and exciting as they were before, or as the ones in the other games. And they were literally Max and Chloe. Their characters got noticeably less well writen, and it was heavily carried by nostalgia.

But the biggest missed opportunity to have a sequel which is called reunion, and the mian characters did not unite with the other characters from the other games. It would have been so hype and it was served on a silver plate.

They even fixed the biggest issue with continuing the stories. If the stories continue, which ending should be canon? The answer is all of them. Max merged the timelines so it could have been a new story with all the characters, in a merged timeline, where every ending happened. I have zero idea why they did not go with it...

What do you think about Jax's pronounce?

Since the finale I saw almost everyone using she/her pronouns but it confuses me. As far as I know Jax always used and prefered he/him, the not closeted trans alternative version of Jax uses she/her, and Leeroy is okey with either of them. Maybe I missed something, but please fill me in if there was a clarification about this topic for Gooseworx or something. Thanks in advance.

How unambiguous was the "Jax is trans" subtext for you?

I need your opinions on this topic because I've been thinking about it since I saw the finale. So before the final episode I expected Jax to turn out to be trans, because of the million clues through the show.

Then when I saw their backstory I was like "oh, so his behavior and the clues weren't refering to Jax being trans, but to Jax being a boy who has a complicated traumatizing past. Including his mom never being satisfied with him, emotionally manipulating him, and forcing this unreasonable level of masculinity on him, etc...

So I let go the "trans Jax" theory, which was a bit of a let down but I liked their deeper backstory, so I was good with it. But later it was confirmed on twitter, and I was really annoyed about, why didn't it happen in the show?

Now I'm watching a reaction about the finale and the youtuber is talking about how he likes it that the show fully confirmed this theory and didn't hold back on it. It confuses me, because the show to give us a full confirmation, but for me the it rather denied the theory, than approved it.

So how did it go for you? Was it really that obvious for you too, or did you interpret it differently as well?>!!<
