A Drop of Corruption damaged copy

This is NOT a complain, it was listed as damaged and I gambled, but I remember some people were interested of possible damages so I thought I’ll share!

Obviously, this will be different for every book, but I’m happy with this one - no regrets.

The Evol Algorithm

I picked up this new sci-fi release the other day, and I wanted to share it, because I believe people in this sub appreciate nice books and art.

I think it’s important to point out that this is a STANDARD edition, with standard £22 RRP.

It includes:

- unique endpaper art front and back

- 5 double pages of black and white art

- 12 bound coloured art on heavy paper

- foiling on the hardback

This is a debut, picked up by a small publisher.

I just found this after the notification the coloured headers will be tiny compared to the mock ups in the Of Blood and Fire endless edition, and I just got even more annoyed.

Again, this is a standard edition for £22. I would love to see more like this from publishers, clearly it CAN be done.

Contemporary romantasy?

I just finished Death’s daughter and Half City, and they scratched an itch in my brain I didn’t know exist.

Probably it’s nostalgia, I was obsessed with Shadowhunters and the Lux series back in the day, and I want more.

I’m not super picky about themes, vampires, demons, magic, anything goes - but maybe with better writing? (I did not like Half City for reference, I liked blurb.)
