Great contractor - color me impressed.

Bought a 70's house with single pane aluminum windows and a few jalousise. Terrible heat gain and drafty. So, called a few local companies. The owner came out and discussed options for addressing concerns, curb appeal, loss of glass, etc. Recommended his second least expensive window even though I repeatedly asked what we lose when spending more. His honest answer was a lighter wallet. I also said floors in lr were cold. He crawled under the house and said there was no insulation or any vapor barrier. He then asked to see the attic. He said good news, almost no insulation and sealing of intrusions. Due to local rebates cost was almost nothing. So we did three work orders. Expected windows in 8-12 weeks. In week 3, when can we install ? Huh, all custom sizes and good glass...install team arrived day 1 on time, worked 7.5 hours each day not includi g lunch, spending last 30 minutes cleaning... I watched one complete install. Cut out trim, remove window. Cut inside trim perfectly, install window using more screws than recommended. Spray foam all sides, wrap with water shield. Caulk. Clean window, install trim hardi, caulk, etc. 29 windows, two sliding doors. Did inside trim with stain able wood.... took two extra days, no rushing. Supervisor checked each window.

Floor insulation. Removed nasty old insulation that had fallen, bagged, hepa filters. Ha, discovered crawl space wrapped around house and installed and sealed there too. Vapor barrier. After project, owner called. Oops installed twi e the sq ft... we ended up splitting difference.

Attic fan, attic insulation. Arrived on original day. Efficient, installed...

So, easy to work with, pricing good to very good, quality excellent. Wish all contractors were this good...

Ok 24 st and I washed the car today. Opened trunk to wipe and saw lots of water in the two side wells, not trunk. Are there weep holes? I think some pine needles mat have gotten in, but I couldn't find a hole for water to go? What am I missing? I do see a little raised piece secured with screw at the point towards the rear.

Thank for any help
