Hello All, I recently installed a Vue 3 and I have solar. For some reason I never get any out to grid kWh numbers. I know my system is exporting power, I have done the recalibrate 3 times following the instructions here with no luck: https://help.emporiaenergy.com/en/articles/14809280-resetting-your-vue-wi-fi-solar-and-recalibration
Does anyone have any other suggestions?
Hey folks, public service announcement of sorts. I got a an SEO hit on duckduckgo for emporiaenergy [dot] shop when looking up some stuff. It seemed legit enough at a glance that I went through trying to buy a PowerSmart firmware upgrade on it. It was on sale and everything! During checkout it asked for an OTP for my card's bank and i thought that was weird... and incorrectly assumed it was an extra security step and carried on like a doofus.
Lo and behold, some minutes later I got an email from my bank saying my card had been successfully added to an Apple Pay wallet. I do not use Apple Pay. One DNS lookup later, and someone utilizing a webhost from Georgia (the country, not the US state) is behind the website. According to whois reverse search there are "8,547 other sites hosted on this server" ... good luck to us all.
I'm good to go with getting the Apple Pay removed and my bank is monitoring the card for weird activity now. Hopefully this post helps inform folks. I work in IT, I'm usually good at noticing this kind've thing... you just have to slip up once. Stay vigilant out there.

I reported a problem with my unit shutting off after an update with my Ultra. Now you would think after 20-25 emails back and forth of about a month. They would say, let’s warranty this unit which you just bought last year. Not these ppl. I don’t want apologies from them I want them to warranty their product. Help, what are my other options here?
I'm in a 2 bedroom apartment and my power bill is insane. I want to install a monitoring system so I can figure out what is draining so much.
I've already replaced the 20 year old electric hot water system, and put it on a timer, and it hasn't helped.
Is the Emporia Vue Gen 3 viable with how small my circuit box is, 18cm wide x 20cm high (about 7 inches wide x 7.8 inches high).
The installation videos I've watched all start with the incoming power lines, and I can't even see where those are.
I'm in Australia so will need to get an electrician to install it regardless, but don't want to order one if it's not going to work anyway
About two weeks ago, I posted a silly complaint about the bright white splash screen when opening the app with my phone in dark mode...quite harsh for those late night power curiosities!
Tonight, not long ago, another redditor asked about any outages. With squinty eyes, I opened the app to check. I was greeted with a black screen with a chill green leaf. The flash bang has been defused.

got an alert my charger was offline, but no internet issues. went to reset wifi in app, cannot get past this page. Is this just my charger gone bad, or down for anyone else?
I want to use a CT clamp to trigger an audible alarm for a 240V septic pump if the pump breaker trips.
Is it possible using an Emporia CT clamp?
Is there a better way to do this?
