Am I the only one experiencing an outage right now?

In light of the current outage there is a way to not rely on their servers.

The 9388A is a home demand automation system and has both low voltage and hard high amperage relay control. Emporia says its ok to cut the 220V, but I read repeatedly doing so diminishes the charger's longevity. Does anyone use a demand automation system and use an Emporia Classic. Note: the Pro version is not an option because I have no home network as such.

What do you guys think the reasoning is here? It used to be visibile via the live data, then it was tucked away, and now I'm unable to verify what my *current* peak demand is at all. Am I doing something wrong? what's going on?

I have an older 1970s GE panel and it is quite cramped. I was able to get 8 branch CTs on and the main ones but I was unable to get some critical circuits due to space constraints. Circuits such as the stove, heat pump, and water heater. I was also unable to place the monitor inside the panel. For now it is floating but I will eventually get a box to house it in that sits below the panel and provides access once the wall is finished (my main project is converting the carport to heated space and re-doing the utility room with sheetrock and insulated walls).

Where can I find compatible thin 50amp CTs for my critical circuits?

Is there a reason why emporia won’t incorporate monitoring the batteries with a vue on a solar system with their EV charger install so excess solar will actually work. Excess solar seems to be pretty useless with home batteries as it will see the batteries draining as excess solar and completely drain your batteries.

Don’t trust Amazon or Emporia to fulfill orders in a timely fashion. Amazon says the Vue 3 combo is in stock. Emporia website says out of stock. Amazon says shipped and arriving, then not shipped at all.

So who actually stocks it, Amazon or Emporia? If Amazon, they lie. If fulfilled by Emporia, why don’t they update Amazon’s website? Don’t trust either one. One or both of them suck.

If my unit arrives this week at all, I’ll update. Have had the same conversation with the Emporia chat bot and gave them my order number.

I don’t want support. I want order fullfillment.

I can handle the truth, if either can provide it.

We’ll see.

You can get grizzly charger totally for free and actually make money … you could make money with Emporia if they allowed OCPP
