My girlfriend and I took in this cat from a woman who was being evicted from her home and couldn’t bring cats to her new apartment. Blossom was 2 years old at the time, and it sounds like this woman had a rough living situation; Blossom never really had any toys and didn’t spend much time with her owner. When she first came in she was very guarded, hid from humans, and always looked over her shoulder when eating; protective and cautious. We were supposed to just watch her for a few months while looking for a new owner, but we very quickly fell in love with her. Now, a year later, she is a complete daddy’s girl and follows me for cuddles everywhere I go 🥰

This is a dream that Bill has in season three. Think it’s a nod to Wizard and Glass? If so it’s a pretty badass deep easter egg 😏 I’ve noticed several in the other seasons (Brady listening to Pet Sematary by the Ramones, hotel rooms having the number 19, etc)

And yes, those spine marks are from one read; Pocket Books were not meant to handle 920 pages 😅

Top row is hard-covers in publication order (interrupted by Dark Tower in its own cubby/Insomnia because it couldn’t fit with the others)

Bottom row is paperbacks in publication order except I keep sequels/trilogies together (normally Talisman is to the left of Black House) and Bachman books together (cat is covering the titles Long Walk, Running Man, Thinner, Blaze). Then a few non-king books at the end of the row.

Showstopper flipped it over face-first onto the ground and got stuck there. Can you say hammer-time!

Finished my journey to the tower a few months ago and have been meaning to dive into some connected books (already read the big ones like Salem’s Lot, The Stand and IT).

I can already tell the spine on this 900-page Pocket Books edition wont survive lol. Looking forward to it!

There’s a bit of sloppiness towards the end, as it’s been hard for me to play it all in one clean take, but this is the closest I’ve got so far. What composers does this remind you of, if any? I’m always looking to enhance my craft and listen to more.
