So I'm getting back into art after not doing it for a long time. I want to get new supplies which are decent quality but not going to break my bank. Can anyone recommend good Acrylics, pencils, erasers, brushes, pens, main colours to get, accessories etc. Appreciate it
I care for my elderly grandmother who's double Incontinent. Shes a little overweight and bedbound. Unable to move, heavy to be moved around. Does not leave her bed. We have carers visit 4 times a day. BMs are always loose. Uses Incontinence pads provided by NHS.
Her skin in her private areas are very sore, constantly blistering, inflamed, red, rashes and having open wounds from the skin reaking down. It looks like she has had a blow touch to her skin. Its excruciatingly painful to be cleaned. Its awkward to get into all folds to clean properly and carers are not always thorough enough because shes in too much pain to continue.
She is allergic to all barrier creams, they cause it to become worse. She gets plastered in sudocreme as a result to try heal her skin and sooth it. We have battled for months to try stop this recurring but it can come and go in a matter of hours. Shes been Incontinent for 3 years and always used sudo.
Anyone had this issue before? Anyone able to recommend products or methods to try help this situation. She is fed up of life because of the pain and distress this causes. We need ideas. TIA.
