Installed windows using OCLP guide but stuck on this boot screen.

I attempted to install win 10 on my 2011 17" MBP 8,x using the oclp UEFI boot guide and I’ve reached this point where I just see the windows logo and nothing happens. Anyone know the issue? Is it worth deleting the partition and going through the whole process again?

Upgraded this 17” 2011 MBP to Sonoma but external thunderbolt display is being weird.

It displays just fine, ethernet works, usb works but the dock is in the middle of the screen and application windows often disappear mainly when putting into fulscreen.

As an added bonus, firewire doesn’t work anymore but I found out that its because sonoma fully dropped support for firewire :(

Any help would be greatly appreciated if anyone knows a solution. Other than that I’m having very minimal issues running sonoma on this mac.

I’ve been looking for a few hours and can’t find one this size. It measures 44**1mm and the smallest I can find is 77*4mm on ebay. Can I just use a bigger one and connect using wires?

Its by the battery on a bluetooth speaker that was dropped from a balcony. Rather miraculously this is the only component that seems to need replacing, everything else stayed in place. Can I just use any random 2.2uH inductor or does it have to be exact?

I’ve taken it apart and given everything a clean and put it back together. Before the lid motor wasn’t working and it wouldn’t play anything at all, just came up with an error. Now it plays most CD’s but with lots of skips and sometimes gets through entire songs perfectly fine. Its very inconsistent. It seems like the laser could be potentially damaged but their is no way its still dirty. Anyone know if these lasers can just be replaced or would I have to replace the whole optical reading bit.

Apologies for my lack of knowledge, if you have anymore questions please ask.

Problems aside, I love the design of this thing! Its both over engineered and outdated at the same time. I’m pretty sure it was fairly outdated when it was released as well since it was B&O’s first attempt at a CD player. It shares the guts of Philips players of the period but by this point everyone was transitioning into side-loading CD players and I found one magazine article from its release calling the top-loading mechanism “old fashioned”. I personally think the motorised lid that closes with the “Play” button a really cool, unnecessary and slightly impractical feature; I love it!
