Beauty empties since going back onsite, with an unnecessary amount of sunscreen
Since I started working onsite again this July, eto na yung mga products na naubos ko so far, and here are my quick reviews:
1. Barefaced Tinted Sunscreen
Love love love. Been using this since last year and as an oily, acne-prone girlie, sobrang happy ako dito because never akong nag-breakout. Lightweight, comfortable, and tinted enough to cover my pimple marks na pa-fade na.
Minsan ito lang and no makeup but still, okay na. Two shades din gamit ko because the lighter shade matches my neck better.
Will hoard again.
2. Dazzle Me Barbie Edition
From 7 AM to 6 PM, kasama angkas commute, no retouch and plakado pa rin. Super mattifying, which I appreciate because nag-ooil up talaga face ko around noon so blot blot lang, then all good na ulit.
Will hoard again. Barbie is my favorite, after all.
3. Organic Skin Sun Protect Spray
Bought this on a whim kasi sobrang mura compared to the QuickFX I usually use. Body sunscreen ko lang siya, though.
I’m still not 100% sure about the SPF claim, so hindi muna ako magco-commit to repurchase until I do more research. For now, under evaluation pa siya.
4. Sun Bears Active Protect Milk
This one I mainly use for gym days and walking. Love ko siya because kahit milk sunscreen siya, hindi siya mabigat sa feeling.
Although, baka hindi ko lang talaga siya napapatuyo nang maayos sa face because once I sweat, parang nagme-melt siya.
BUT HERE’S THE FUNNY PART.
Pinahiram ko siya sa isang tropa kong guy and somehow, nag-glow yung mukha niya.** **Umaliwalas talaga, and parang super fresh. Pero pag ako naman gumamit, walang ganoong effect. Saan ang hustisya? 😭
Hindi naman glaring yung white cast and nawawala rin eventually. Will repurchase pa rin!
5. Sheglam Matte Spray
Love ko na talagang nagma-matte siya, pero hindi kasing plakado ng Dazzle Me Barbie. Around 4 hours, hulas na hulas na ako and parang need na mag reapply ng funda ulit na ayoko naman gawin. Never ko yan naexperience kay Dazzle Me Barbie huhu.
Okay naman siya, pero may nahanap na akong mas bet ko, so I think this is where we part ways. Siguro recommended sya for quick errands lang, ganern.
Will not repurchase.
6. Luxe Organix Facial UV Mist SPF 75 PA+++
Ito yung gamit ko throughout the day, especially now na onsite na ako. Since lumalabas ako ng office, I make sure na nakakapag-reapply ako every couple of hours.
Definitely one of my favorites kasi SPF 75 PA+++ and so far, wala pa akong ibang facial mist na with same SPF.
Downside lang: medyo heavy siya at first. Parang ang daming oil sitting on my face, so kailangan ko talaga siyang patuyuin. Need ko siguro mga around five minute na nakatutok yung e-fan sa face ko kasi if hindi ko sya mapatuyo, parang nagsaslide lang sya sa face ko.
Will still repurchase.
7. QuickFX Super UV Sunspray
Yung square/rectangle bottle talaga yung favorite ko from QuickFX, kaso laging sold out online. So I took a chance on this one.
Mabilis maubos and grabe yung white cast, but since body sunscreen ko lang naman siya, okay lang. Nagrepurchase na rin ako, pero if may makahanap akong mas magandang alternative, baka iwan ko na rin siya.
8. QuickFX CC Cream
I mix this with my tinted sunscreen kapag gusto ko ng extra coverage. May green pigment kasi siya, so nakakatulong siyang mag-tone down ng redness from my pimple marks.
Sometimes ginagamit ko rin siya alone kapag tinatamad akong mag-makeup, and honestly, it does the job pag walang sumpa ang face ko.
Will repurchase.
So ayun, that’s my little “things I actually finished since going back onsite” roundup.
Apparently, going back onsite has turned me into someone who carries multiple sunscreens, sprays, makeup products, and probably enough SPF to survive a small beach vacation.
And yes, hoard malala kapag may sale. Pero may sharing system naman ako. Mama and Mom-in-law get their supplies too, so may excuse ako.
Now, body sunscreen recommendations please! Madalas akong naka-skirt or dress sa officr, pero ang init kasi dito sa Pilipinas. I want something na good for everyday use, hindi sobrang lagkit, oks lang kahit may kaunting white cast.
