Those who have taken admission recently, kaisa laga college aur nearby areas. Below or above expectations?

For the juniors taking admission in this session and for upcoming juniors in future.

Hostel.

A very unexplained topic regarding to jec. Not many exactly know about the allotment process and time it takes to get alloted.

So here it is:

After your admission procedure, go to the head warden office (on the left of Applied chemistry dept). There they will give you a application form for hostel, fill it and submit it then and there.

Now how much time will it take?

Approximately 2 months after induction starts.

What determines the hostel allocation?

Rank and category.

Where to live for 2 months?

You can find rooms in Gokalpur and Ranjhi for cheap. Just make sure they don't have any agreement of 1 year.

Cse, it and aids students have sure chances that they will be alloted hostel (not all but most).

Ece have lower chances than these three (very unpredictable).

For EE and other ( general, obc and ews especially ) have nil chances of getting hostels.

One more thing, there isn't just one time allotment. Two lists will be released, just like 2 rounds of mpdte for hostel allotment.

Since some students don't avail the allotment in the first list, the empty seats are then filled in second allotment.

Second list will take a month for release after the first list.

My brother wants to pursue law and wants to become a corporate lawyer. For that he needs to do Bba/Llb. Which colleges in MP offer this course? And is it good to do law from these colleges or should I look outside MP?
