(bZ4X Touring/bZ Woodland) What happens when the battery shows 0% and ---km?

Purely by chance, I ended up testing the car's battery buffer at "zero". To be specific, this was the bZ4X Touring (bZ Woodland) 4WD version with 18" summer tyres, so a 74.7 kWh battery with 71 kWh usable.

The reason was simple: driving out to the countryside, I didn't fully charge the battery beforehand because I planned to try out Ionity fast charger. However, by setting it as the destination in the onboard nav with a relatively empty battery, the car decided to prepare for fast charging, and the +10 kW heating created a situation where, 15 km before Ionity, the car showed 0% and 0 km. Luckily, there was roadworks there, so I drove 70 km/h in a 70 km/h zone without any worries. Carscanner reported that there was actually 5% battery left, and it seemed there shouldn't be a problem. 5 km before the Ionity, there was only 2% left according to the BMS, and I could no longer drive over 65 km/h. Again, fortunately, there was road repair with constant 70-50-70 speed limits. 2 km before charger the maximum speed dropped to 50 km/h, and with that, I managed to roll up to the Ionity charger. When plugging in, the BMS showed 1.176% of juice left in the battery.

Charging was hassle-free: 40.93 kWh was pushed into the battery in 17 minutes.

It was exciting, but I won't do it again.
