Bike wont start?

Hello everyone,

I’m having an issue with my Suzuki GSX 125R and I’m not sure what’s going on.

I rode it yesterday without any problems, but today it won’t start at all. When I try to use the ignition, nothing happens. The key fob battery is new, but I’m still having issues.

When I press the fob, the LED flashes red for about a second, but the bike doesn’t respond.

Symptoms:

Pressing ignition does nothing (no response at all)
I cannot turn the ignition key
Horn does not work
Steering lock is engaged and won’t release
Fob LED flashes red briefly when pressed (about 1 second)

Has anyone experienced this before or know what could be causing it? Any ideas on what I should check first would be really appreciated.

125CC Sportbike cringe oder no?

Mich würde die Meinung anderer Motorradfahrer interessieren:

Wie werden 125er Sportbikes (z.B. GSX125R) in der Szene wahrgenommen?

Ich finde die Optik solcher Bikes ziemlich gut und überlege mir eine zu holen. Mir ist aber klar, dass eine 125er weder schnell ist noch viel Sound/Leistung hat. Ich habe nur B196 und plane auch keinen großen Führerschein – das Bike wäre nur für Stadt und Arbeitsweg.

Wenn ihr ein 125er-Sportbike seht: wirkt das für euch normal oder eher „cringe“, weil Optik und Leistung nicht zusammenpassen?
