Does Gopalpura really have a serious dr*g problem?

People keep telling me that drug use has become pretty common around Gopalpura. For those who live nearby, how true is this

Has anyone else noticed how much the atmosphere around Riddhi Siddhi has changed lately?

Some people who’ve come here from outside seem to have completely forgotten basic manners, staring at girls, making them uncomfortable, driving recklessly, and casually ignoring traffic rules. It’s honestly frustrating and, at times, genuinely uncomfortable.

If you’ve come to Jaipur to study, please focus on that. You’re welcome here, but please respect the people and the place you’re living in. We don’t need unnecessary harassment, reckless driving, or behaviour that makes others feel unsafe.
And seriously, the way some guys stare at girls is disturbing. A girl walking on the road is not an invitation to stare, comment, or follow her.

No offence to anyone:I’m specifically calling out the people who create these problems, not generalising about everyone.

Do you agree or disagree?😭

I swear, this kind of “keeda” is most common among the aunties in our neighbourhood 😂 They somehow always have something to say or interfere in everything. You guys have these kinds of aunties in your neighbourhood too, right? 😭

I wish I had spoken up, but I just couldn’t.😢🥲

TL;DR: I was on a crowded bus when the conductor said, “Madam, mere paas aao” (“Madam, come to me”) in a way that made me uncomfortable. Some boys nearby laughed, I froze and couldn’t say anything because I’m very introverted, and now I keep replaying the incident and wondering how to become more confident in situations like this.

Pata hai aaj kya hua
Today, I was coming home from college in a crowded bus. As my stop was approaching, I told the conductor, “Bhaiya, mera stop aa gaya hai, bus rok dena.” The bus was so crowded that I couldn’t even move toward the gate.
Instead of simply asking me to come to the door, he looked at me and said, “Madam, mere paas aao.” (“Madam, come to me.”) The way he said it felt really inappropriate.
When I somehow reached the gate to get off, I noticed a few guys standing there smiling and quietly laughing. That’s when I realized they had probably understood the same thing I did. I felt so uncomfortable and embarrassed.
Why are some bus conductors so disrespectful? Sometime they touch in an inappropriate way..I can’t stop replaying this incident in my head.
The thing is, I’m extremely introverted. I completely freeze in situations like this. I just can’t confront people, even when I know they’re wrong. Later, I keep overthinking everything and think of all the things I should have said.

I’m the kind of person who won’t even ask for my bus fare change because I overthink how to say it. My friends always ask me, “Why are you so quiet?” and honestly, I don’t know. I wish I could speak up, but I just can’t in the moment, and it’s really frustrating.
Has anyone else been like this?

“She’s so cute, isn’t she?”

She fell from a tree during the rain and somehow ended up inside my house. Her parents were chirping loudly the whole time. So we gently placed her in a box on the AC vent, and after a while she flew away. She’s so cute, isn’t she? 🥹❤️

Is masters in sociology worth it ? Please guide me

My optional subject for UPSC will be Sociology, and I’m planning to take my first attempt in 2028. That’s why I’m thinking of pursuing a Master’s in Sociology from Rajasthan University. Do you think that would be a good choice, or should I consider another option like IGNOU

Anyone know about 4 year hons degree with research?

I am currently in the 6th semester and pursuing an Honours program. According to the university, even after completing three years, I will receive only a regular bachelor’s (pass) degree. To obtain an Honours degree, I have to continue for one more year. I want to continue into the fourth year. What will be the eligibility criteria and terms for it? I am a student of the University of Rajasthan.
