Anyone removing a tree? Local woodcarver looking for green wood.
Hi neighbors! I’m a local woodcarver looking for freshly cut/green hardwood for carving spoons, bowls, and other small pieces.
If you’re having a tree or large branches removed—either now or sometime in the future—I’d be very grateful for a chance to save a few pieces before they’re chipped or hauled away. I’m especially interested in fruit trees, maple, walnut, madrone, birch, and other hardwoods. Logs and branches roughly 3"and more in diameter are useful, and I’m happy to pick up.
I’d also be happy to carve you a spoon in return, if you’re interested.
