BPO career shift

Hello! This is my first time posting here and sana ma notice.

Graduate ako ng college 2025 as an IT and my first work is BPO and sa ngayon BPO uli kinuha ko kasi need ko mag provide sa fam ko (breadwinner ba). Previous experience ko is chat support and magiging chat support uli ata ako sa next job ko and I ma planning to stay here habang nag uupskill.

Medyo nalulungkot lang ako sa part na graduate ako ng IT pero nasa BPO industry ako for some reason and ang hirap din makahanap ng IT. I have tried accenture before pero di nakaabot ng interview kase nagbabawas ata sila that time, kaso sa ngayon kahit gustuhin ko man hindi na sya possible pa kasi may dapat akong unahin.

Sa mga galing sa BPO bago mapursue dream career nila or anything relevant. Can you please share your experience, insights, progression, salary progression as well if possible, kahit ano gusto ko lang ma inspire galing mismo sa inyo.

I think hinahumble talaga ako ng buhay ngayon kase parang hindi naayon ang mga plano at gusto ko especially sa career. At this point ang mindset ko muna take any job that I need to put food on the table before getting my dream job. Thank you!

BPO career shift

Those who are in BPO as their first job, can you share about your career shift/progression and salary. As a bread winner of the fam, I want to be inspired starting as a chat support and later on pursue my dream career which is IT (still lost which field)

Transition from BPO to IT advice

Hi! I graduated college as an IT noong 2025 and I can say na I am not that confudent with my IT skills and nalipasan na rin ako.

I am currently looking for a job sa BPO industry dahil sa financial concerns and such. I have 6 months worth of experience sa BPO as my first job pagka graduate ko kasi no luck talaga sa IT industry. Chat support and retail account yon.

Now, nagseseek ulit ako ng job sa BPO. Ginagaslight ko nalang sarili ko na related naman sa IT rin to hahaha.

Hindi ako nakapasa sa accenture before kasi nag babawas sila ng employees that time at failed interview ang status ko kahit wala naman talagang nangyaring interview even though pasado ako sa assessment, walk in pa yon. Now kahit gustuhin ko, hindi na kaya ng budget or salary kung sisige pa ako sa accenture.

I am concerned about my future and gusto ko rin mag transition sa IT sooner or later siguro data analyst nalang din. Hindi ko pa lang kaya sa ngayon kasi badly needed na talaga. Sa mga nag transition to IT or kahit ano, ano yung piece of advice na mabibigay nyo sa akin? Whether nasa IT industry kayo or hindi I am happy to know your thoughts and knowledge about this concern. Thank you!
