Fender Blues Deluxe making crazy background noise

Hey everyone.

One day the indicator light on my Fender Blues Deluxe Amp died and my amp started making this permanent background interference noise. I can play the guitar normally and loudly, and the guitar tone sounds fine, but there is this constant noise in the backdrop that is pure madness.

I tried isolating the problem a few ways; moving the amp to another circuit, tried different patch cables and instruments. I checked for electrical interference and my determination was that was not a problem. My electrician buddy says my ground wire might be messed up but I am a complete noob.

If anyone has insight into this problem I would be very appreciative. I will be bringing this amp to a repair guy anyways.

The Fate of Huey

Seen about a hundred "What happened to Huey?" comments since JOC jokingly brought it up. Obviously many are kidding, but it's very clear what happened.

At the end of his internship, he came on the Yak. The people on the Yakk asked him what he thought about Andrew Jackson. Huey joked that he thought Andrew Jackson was cool because he owned slaves. The joke fell flat, B-Walk said what, everyone cringed, the joke bombed really hard and they took him off the yakk for good about 1 minute after he made this comment. Don't ask me what episode this was, but I know it was his last appearance. Took them about 1 minute after that to realize he didn't fit the mould.

1 week later he was gone for good. If you know barstool, they're not going to entertain racist troll humour like that.

That's what happened to Huey.

I am a plumbing apprentice, 1 month into service plumbing - still quite green. one of my main jobs is finding and repairing leaks in large buildings tI have never been to before, nor do I have the building plans readily available.

Today I was in a commercial space on the ground floor with residential units above me in a big 6 story condo. Usually I can determine the location of the leaky pipe by the nature of the drain layout, pipe diameter etc.. but today I had to find a 4" XFR stack that was behind a wall. I usually just trace out my steps from the elevator to find the pipe but im thinking there is a much better way to do this. Hyper accurate GPS? I sometimes screw up my steps when I do this strategy and when it comes to entering peoples homes and requesting access, I hope to be more certain of where I'm looking.

any thoughts appreciated, thanks
