Help with a multimeter and a cartridge
So, my biology teacher has a game boy color but her games don’t work anymore, she has tried everything, ipa, white eraser, reflowing, but no correct read, it’s just a garbled Nintendo logo, so she thinks its a broken trace from each of the black chips, how could she correctly test each of the chips? should she remove the battery?

usps took a while to start processing, and should be arriving tomorrow, but for whatever reason, the buyer isn’t checking updates, and is now asking for a refund due to “no progress”, by the way, this is a GameCube that I am selling for parts.
so I found this listing of a gameboy and SMB DX, I was seriously considering of buying it, until I saw that blob where the battery is supposed to be… anyone got any ideas as to what that is?
