I’m a complete noob and recently bought a bike. I’m learning to ride it and I find it hard to understand how to brake. Some friends say to use the rear brakes only and use both brakes when we have to suddenly stop. Others say they only use the front brakes and apply the rear brakes when there are sudden braking situations.

I’ve tried searching on YouTube for answers but no one explains it; everyone just talks about engine braking. Can someone help me understand the correct answer?

Is it necessary to have an external keyboard or mouse? I’ve seen people with laptop using it? Does it make any productivity and life easier?

People who use it, could you please recommend some external monitor keyboard that I can buy for my workstation set up?
