Did my longest stretch so far on this beauty. The cool air, ghat roads, surreal views will surely make you feel alive. 🫶

Left Hinjawadi Phase 3 early morning at around 6 AM and reached Diveagar by 10 AM.

Since I came solo and didn’t really have anything else planned apart from the ride I left around 10:30 after having Maggi and headed back. Reached Phase 3 around 2 PM.

Got around 36 km/l mileage, while cruising at 80–90 km/h for roughly 80% of the ride.

Only downside was not having a phone mount. Had to keep stopping/figuring out directions, which was honestly a pain.
Overall, a pretty satisfying solo ride. The ride itself was the plan.

I was out on pune roads at night and man the unevenness and potholes make it impossible to ride smoothly, this small patch on Bombay Sappers is the only decent one. Lmk any ideas for late night rides in the town?

I am planning to do the Spiti trip this month on my RS457. My buddy backed out due to some family issues at his end. Is anybody interested in joining?

This is another wind farm close to Satara/Karad that provides a peaceful and a bit of fun trails like the Vankuswade/Thoseghar windmills. However, unlike Vankuswade which is based on a relatively flat terrain, this wind park is on a collection of short hills. It isn’t as tall as the ones near Igatpuri, though, it provides some interesting views. Also, it seems relatively unknown to most so it would be a good place to visit in mornings/evenings.

This place has a lot of trails to each individual windmills and most of them are easily accessible so it offers bit of fun trail riding towards the end. The weather was nice, light clouds, though the October heat has started to creep in.

The road from Satara to this place is great, it has no construction or potholes. A smooth highway with twisties in between and towards the end. You can also reach from Saswad-Phaltan highway, however, the NH160 after Phaltan is still under construction so you will find a lot of rough patches in between and I generally avoid it. That road is nearing completion though and in maybe a few months it should also turn out to be a good alternative.

Short ride for me cause I live in Nibm. Saw a few cars with families which is good and all, but protect Panvadi ghat for bikers at all costs. 😋😇
