I lost my Samsung Galaxy Buds Core last week and can't remember where I kept them. The earbuds were registered in the SmartThings Find / Find My app, and initially the app kept showing my home location as the last known location.
The strange part is that the device has now completely disappeared from the app, and I can no longer see it at all.
Has anyone experienced this before? Is there still any way to recover them, or should I assume they're gone forever?
The reason this hurts a little more is that they were a birthday gift from my wife. 😔
Any suggestions, recovery tips, or similar experiences would be greatly appreciated.

Finally retiring my Apache 200 4V (MY2016) and moving to an EV.
After almost 10 years with my trusty Apache RTR 200 4V (2016 model), I've decided it's time to switch to an EV scooter for daily commuting.
After weeks of research, I've narrowed it down to these three:
- Ather Rizta
- TVS iQube
- River Indie
But honestly, the more I read, the more confused I get.
My usage:
- Daily commute: 30–50 km
- Occasional weekend rides
- Need good reliability and service support
- Family-friendly practicality is a plus
- Planning to keep it for at least 5–7 years
My understanding so far:
Ather Rizta
Pros
✅ Mature software and app ecosystem
✅ Ather Grid fast-charging network
✅ Good service reputation (at least from what I've heard)
✅ Family-oriented design and comfort
✅ Feature-packed dashboard
Cons
❌ Conservative styling
❌ Slightly expensive for the specs
❌ Smaller storage compared to River Indie
❌ Not sure about long-term battery replacement costs
---
TVS iQube
Pros
✅ TVS service network is everywhere
✅ Proven product with lots of units on the road
✅ Comfortable ride quality
✅ Practical and easy to live with
✅ Better trust factor for long-term ownership
Cons
❌ Software experience seems behind Ather
❌ Design feels a bit plain
❌ Mixed reviews regarding app connectivity
❌ Not as exciting as the competition
---
River Indie
Pros
✅ Massive storage space
✅ Unique rugged design
✅ Looks like the most practical EV for carrying stuff
✅ Bigger wheels and solid road presence
✅ Feels different from every other scooter
Cons
❌ Smaller service network
❌ Relatively new company compared to Ather/TVS
❌ Long-term reliability is still unknown
❌ Resale value is a question mark
---
What would you choose and why?
If you own any of these:
- How has your real-world range been?
- Any service nightmares?
- Battery degradation so far?
- Hidden costs after purchase?
- How is the scooter after 1+ year of ownership?
Also, if you've switched from a motorcycle to an EV scooter, do you miss having gears and the overall riding feel?
Would love to hear from actual owners rather than YouTube reviewers.
Thanks in advance!
