Finding the laser engraved authentication has been fun.
I bought a bullion at a shop in Karama Center and it was given to a goldsmith at the same day to put a frame as I will be using it as a pendant. However, upon comparing the before and after pics, we noticed so much scratch marks after the customization. Is it possible that they gave us counterfeit item and kept the original one? Although the code is the same. Below pics for reference.
I wanted some gold I could touch. I like the way your brain doesn't compute a piece of gold when it's dropped in your hand or when you pick it up.
So as soon as I sent the resignation letter, I went online (The Perth Mint) and had a look. I wanted something big enough to make a good feeling.
I flipped and flopped between the 100g and the 5oz cast bars. In hindsight, the 5oz would have been better, but never look back.
The timing seems pretty good though as the last 7-10 days the price has gone up which only makes my purchase even better.
