The first photo is the last time I saw the gel sugilite cab cab I inherited from my Santa Fe antiques dealer mother's estate, along with my partners old engagement rings we used as the deposit to get a custom 18k setting for it. Hi. I bought these from an estate. The original owner bought it as turquoise in Santa Fe in the 80s. I'm scratching my head here. It's very hard. A base metal pin did nothing, and it bit into glass. Very translucent. Gorgeous specimens that I thought was very well priced for turquoise... But now I'm doubting it's turquoise a little. No UV reactivity unlike the Zachary method stabilized rough Kingman my mom had.

My partner's scale is on crack, it was NOT seven pounds, but it was a lot for $30. No mine attribution. That knowledge went to the grave with the lady. I don't want to make claims I can't back up, but this is some insane gem quality turquoise. It reminds me of the morenci on a lot of Bennie Ration's. It's been sitting in a drawer since the 80s.
The lady who passed away supposedly has a lot more, both in NA jewelry, and with rough.
